The Art Show

Today we had the annual Art Show happening at the Baha'i World Centre. We had the chance to be here last year (it happened shortly after we arrived here from France), so this year was our second Art Show. Last year, we did not have anything to display - given that we had just arrived - but this year, I had two or three things! Pottery (and one gourd)! Last year Leili and Edward and Noel had some pottery on display and that is actually how I got all the info needed to go to the same classes with them a month later. Next year, I am hoping to have more pottery for display.

Anyways, this year's show was really nice. It had a very relaxed atmosphere and there was a lot of nice and impressive art. I got very inspired by one form of art that I particularly liked and I have already started investigating the possibility of doing it here. I'll tell you more about it in due course!


Aujourd’hui nous avons eu le festival d’art qui a lieu chaque année au Centre mondial. L’année dernière nous venions juste d’arriver avant que cela n’eu lieu, donc cette année c 'était notre second festival. L’année dernière nous n’avions rien a exposer – vu qu’on venait d’arriver – mais cette année j’avais deux, trois trucs. De la poterie (et une calebasse). L'année dernière Leili et Edward et Noel avaient exposé leurs poteries et c’est d’ailleurs comme ça que j’ai pu avoir toutes les informations nécessaires pour suivre les mêmes cours qu’eux un mois après !

L’année prochaine j’espère avoir plus de poterie à exposer.

En tout cas, le festival de cette année était vraiment bien. Il y avait une atmosphère très relax et il y avait de jolies choses d’exposées ! J’ai vraiment été inspirée par une des choses que j’ai vu et j’ai déjà commencé mes recherches pour savoir si je pourrais commencer cet art ici (pas dans une classe, juste à la maison). J’en reparlerai une fois que ça se concrétise !
