Hartelijk gefeliciteerd met je jaardag tante Clautje

Aujourd’hui, c’est l’anniversaire de ma tante Clau. Ma mère m’a dit quel age elle allait avoir mais j’ai oublié. 89 ans je crois. Tante Clau habite aux Pays-Bas depuis des années et des années. Elle est comme une mère pour ma mère et comme ma grand-mère pour moi (c’est ma grande tante). Ma mère est allée lui faire un bisous aux Pays-Bas pour son anni. et c’est dommage que je n’aie pas pu y aller avec elle…

Today is the birthday of my tante Clau. My mother told me how old she would be but I forgot. 89 years old I think. Tante Clau has been living in The Netherlands for years and years. She is like a mother to my mother and like a grand mother to me (she is actually my grand-aunt). My mothe went to The Netherlands to give a kiss for her birthday and I wished I could have gone with her.
